Exquisite performance of this lovely piece. Please note the gorgeous vowels and clean, crisp consonants in this ensemble. It takes extra thought and focus. Please practice with this in mind.

Our rehearsal on February 8 will be at the Jacksonville Methodist Church.  A few notes about this new location:

• There should be plenty of parking on the gravel lot.  Please do not park on the paved road that runs between Rte. 96 and Jacksonville Rd.
• There is no drinking fountain.  Please bring your own water bottle with your name clearly marked on it.
• Bring your pencil!
• We’re not sure what to expect for temperature regulation yet, so dress in layers!

This choral piece will have a lot of give and take, push and pull, (subtle tempo changes) so you will need to know it very well, in order to watch the conductor.

Learn this slowly and accurately, especially SOPRANOS, because this one will really fly. Look at page 12….what do you suppose “presto possible” means?

All tenors will sing the tenor 2 part.
